Rookie Rod Midland Championship Result - Added 23/03/2022


On Sunday 20th March 2022 at Hednesford Hills Raceway the Rookie Rods made their debut at the ¼ banked oval competing for the Midland Championship.

The racing was superb and the formula as a whole did yourselves proud.

At the end of the meeting the top three in the championship were stripped which included the following:-
• Cylinder heads removed and measured.
• Cam boxes measured.
• Valve springs and cams taken away to be checked.

We are pleased to confirm that all checks were cleared and the result will now stand.

Congratulations go to #55 Gary Thomas taking the title followed by #216 Sam Smith in second and #99 Ash Braim in third.

The top three will receive their trophies at the next event.
