It has come to our attention on Saturday that drivers are moving the front subframe mounts. Therefore, when you are putting lean into the car, this is then making the subframe level to the ground.
This news item is to clarify the rule and how they will be checked from now on.
The pick-up mounts must remain symmetrical from side to side & the subframe will be checked by putting a spirit level across it. Then across the front bumper and the bulkhead/window aperture.
So, if the bumper is damaged you would use the bulkhead/window aperture.
This amendment applies with immediate effect.
