News on the Pre-85 Crash Cavalcade meeting at Hednesford Hills Raceway in September...

For 2016 the Hednesford Classic Car day, the original “pre” meeting will change to a Pre 1985 cut off date.

The Pre-85 Crash Cavalcade Meeting is staying at three classes :-
... up to 1725cc
... 1726cc to 2500cc
... over 2500cc

It is hoped that this will open up the meeting to a wide range of cars that aren’t suitable for most current banger meetings but still retain a bit of that special classic meeting feeling.

For an example if you have a 1300cc MK3 Escort its in the lower class, Austin 1800 go’s in the middle class, Triumph 2000 middle class. If your unsure what class your car would go in just ask!

Engine swops are permitted with the usual no power up rules applying.

The Pre-85 Crash Cavalcade meeting date is Sunday 25th September 2016 and also features Classic Hot Rods and Heritage F2 Stock Cars to make it a real day of Classic Car racing action. The public will also have their chance to display their own Classic Cars on the banks of the raceway.
