All drivers are aware that there is a qualification requirement for this years big race and this is confirmed as follows :

Drivers are required to be fully licenced in 2016 and also need to have competed at least twice between the period 1st November 2015 and 7th May 2016.

The requirement for the above qualification is the fairest way of solving the year upon year problem of one off returning drivers appearing in the National Championship, with little intent of continuing racing for the remainder of the season.

There may well be certain situations where drivers have not qualified above but think they should be considered for an entry into the race – eg raced once, attended a second meeting, but ‘blew up’ in practice. These sort of situations will be considered and you may be granted a place when you apply for a booking.
