Over the weekend of the 10th & 11th September 2016 the Lightning Rods will compete for the Thunderball sponsored by Crowson Motors!

The event will take place over the two days with qualifying races taking place at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday 10th September 2016 at 6.45pm and then we move to Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 11th September 2016 at 1.30pm for two further qualifying races before the Thunderball Grand Final to round-off the weekends racing.

Drivers from both promotions will score points at each track towards the Thunderball prize whilst at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich the Spedeworth registered drivers will also score race points towards their National points chart and at Hednesford Hills Raceway the Incarace registered drivers will score race points towards their National points chart.

The prize money for the event will be to the top three in the points at the completion of the six races and will be as follows:- 1st £200, 2nd £125 & 3rd £75
