With a heavy heart I received this E mail today, but wanted to share it with everyone who put so much into this particular story over the past weekend;
Hi Dean
Thanks to everyone who carried Jessica round the track with them on Saturday to everyone who donated, everyone who we spoke to who had such lovely messages, to Spedeworth for letting us do it, Becks Hunn and Danny for letting us camp out in their hospitality, Vicki Terry-Brand for some amazing bucket work. Also thank you to Julieanne Steel for sorting 200 pink balloons on the cars too.
Also to the driver who had 100 stickers printed too. A very special thanks to Darren Terry-Brand, this all started with a small request to put a little girls name on your car and it turned into this. It means so much to a lot of people, and we have sent a lot of love to Jessica and her family in the last week.
From the bottom of my heart thank you. As Anita Marinelli of My Shining Star said to me awareness is as important as raising money. Tonight we did both. Final figure is in for Saturday night. £1080.86!!!!!! Huge thanks to all who made it possible £540.43 to Neuroblastoma and same to My Shining Star.
Thank you thank you thank you. Donations can still be made to https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/jessicamaewhelan
Sadly Jessica passed away at 7am on Sunday morning surrounded by her family. I have attached a picture for you to use
Thanks again
