40 vs 40 Team Event

This is to be noted by all drivers participating in these two events of a rule amendment of the change of car build rules for the event on Saturday 22nd April 2017 at Lochgelly Raceway and the return leg at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday 15th July 2017 that the Ford Focus will be allowed to use a 1600cc Mondeo engine for these two meetings only.

Rules Of Racing

At the safety check it will be the two team captains plus two drivers of the respective captains’ choice who will assist the scrutineers. The scrutineers’ decision will be final.

There will be painted marked areas on the Armco where turning around will be allowed. You MUST turn around within this area and if you are aiming for another car you must be coming from the outside fence towards the infield. If any driver comes from ‘inside-out’ the penalty would be a minimum of a load-up. If a driver turns around and hits the drivers front wheel or drivers’ door then it is the offending drivers’ responsibility and this will be a minimum of a load-up, upto a three month ORCi ban.

Any driver who is parked on the infield for two laps or more will be classed as out of the race and not allowed to re-join.
