The funeral service for John Gould will be held at Sandwell Crematorium, Newton Road, Great Barr on Thursday 27th July at 10.45am.

Flowers are welcome or donations to Parkinson's Charity or more specifically the local 'Buds' group where John spent a fair bit of his recent time - don't worry, it's not a drinking club - it stands for 'Better Understanding of Dementia in Sandwell' where I am sure like John did, many other people will benefit from your donations.

John was a stalwart member of the Incarace team and indeed way back before Incarace was even created as John also worked in the Bill Morris era at Hednesford Hills Raceway.

John was instrumental in assisting with the Hednesford Raceway Supporters Club way back in the 70's arranging many a trip to Wimbledon on Carnival Night.

John became an important member of the marshalling team at Incarace and spent most of his latter time with us as a Start Marshal.

John retired from Incarace a few years ago now, following diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, but he did continue visiting us on practice nights at Birmingham Wheels on the odd occasion.

It would be great for many of John's raceway friends to join the final celebration of his life at this very sad time.
