Congratulations to Mini Stox pilot Ryan Polley who literally eased his way over two days of competition to win the 2012 Midland Championship.
With a new format being run for the biggest Mini Stox event at Incarace in 2012, Ryan amassed enough qaulifying points over the four heats (3 at Birningham on Saturday night and one final qualifier on Sunday at NIR) to start tje big race on pole; and he was never troubled over his 25 lap flag to flag victory.
The new format ran really well and has already been penclled in for 2013 - heat one being started in graded order and then remaining heats in reverse points order of qualification so far.
So, Ryan was a clear winner ahead of West Countryman Stevem Gilbert and Billy Banwell in third place. Pre-race other top driver Courenty Finnikin and Danny Hansford never really seemed to have the pace and certainly not consistently over the two day event.
Tommy Aylwaard won the Midland Championship Revenge, which was started in reverse grid order of the big race and Courtney Finnikin took the honours in the last race of the weekend, the allcomers.
Well done to all drivers.
