The Man Of The Midlands Championship Grand Final is drawing near and below is the information for all the drivers racing on Sunday.
Firstly, on behalf of Deane, Paul and myself I would like to thank each of the drivers who have booked in to race on Sunday at Hednesford.
The booking list is a record for this event and has got the event off to a positive start before we have even opened the gates.
Moving onto Sunday itself, the drivers gate will open at 10am with the turnstiles shortly after. Once again I would ask all drivers to get to the track as early as possible please!
All drivers will sign-on at the drivers’ gate but any day licence drivers (including day licence drivers who raced at Birmingham) will be asked to go to Race Control to complete the necessary forms. Any drivers who raced on day licences at Birmingham are still required to fill out another day licence form but will not be charged for this.
For any drivers who haven’t raced at Hednesford this year once you have parked in the pits and unloaded your car there can be NO ENGINE NOISE before 12noon.
The scrutineers will come to you so please make sure you are near by so they can scrutineer your car.
At 12.45pm there will be a drivers briefing for ALL DRIVERS on the infield.
ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND THIS BRIEFING TO BE ALLOWED TO RACE!
At the briefing you will be required to sign a form and be issued with a wristband, which must be shown to the pit gate marshal before you will be allowed onto the track.
No wristband – No Race!
As stated above the drivers briefing is mandatory therefore I’m asking that you arrive well before this time to allow you to sign-in and be scrutineered so you can attend.
Heat 4 for the Bangers will be the 2nd race of the day on track.
A quick reminder also that the Man Of The Midlands Championship race is ALL-In regardless of if you have scored any points or not but the more points you score through Heat 4 or if you raced at Birmingham the higher up the grid you will start.
Once again I would like to thank all the drivers in advance and look forward to seeing you all at Hednesford on Sunday!
