By coming to Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 21st April 2013 you will get the only opportunity in the 2013 season to witness the awesome power of the BriSCA F1’s thundering around the Hednesford ¼ mile.
However, whilst the thunder maybe provided by the BriSCA F1’s the guaranteed smash and crash organised chaos better known as Banger racing returns for another session but this time with the Incarace Bangers. So far at Hednesford we have already seen 3 forms of banger racing with Civil War, 1800cc National Bangers Spring Classic and the Big Van National Bangers at the rescheduled Easter meeting.
Sunday 21st April (1.30pm Start Time) gives the Incarace Banger guys and girls their first chance on the banked oval in 2013 after already racing at Incarace’s sister tracks at Birmingham Wheels and Pr1mo International, Northampton.
This years 2013 season is Hednesford’s 50th Anniversary year after the re-opening by Bill Morris and it is hoped to see full grids of cars for every formula that races.
I am pleased to say that drivers have already started to book-in for the Hednesford meeting on the 21st April and I would ask that any drivers intending to race please book-in with us as soon as possible.
Please book-in either by calling 01252 322920 or by e-mailing info@incarace.co.uk
Over the past couple of meetings we have been struggling with advertising meetings due to low car booking lists but on race days the number of cars racing is larger than the original entry list!
It is superb to see drivers supporting the meetings and I can appreciate that some decisions to race or be able to race are last minute due to other commitments away from racing etc but again if you know that you will be racing then please book-in.
It has been proven that people make the decision on whether to attend race meetings or not based on booking lists and a poor booking list tends to equal a poor attendance of both drivers and spectators. At Incarace we need to maintain a good balance of drivers on track, spectators on the terraces and of course have a dedicated team of staff to be able operate the raceways so in the grand scheme of oval racing everybody can come and enjoy a good days racing come rain or shine!
Along with the speedy BriSCA F2’s and the youngsters in the National Mini Stox the 4 formula spectacular promises to be something special at this once a year BriSCA / Banger Bash and Crash In The Hills!
Let’s Go Racing Boys & Girls!!!
We look forward to seeing everybody at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 21st April and throughout the 2013 season.
