It has come to our attention that an increasing number of drivers are presenting their cars at scrutineering with little or no padding in the required places.
Just to remind drivers that the rules require them to pad steering column, B-pillar AND roll cage with HIGH DENSITY FOAM. Please ensure that you have sufficient padding to these areas before you present your car for scrutineering. Using rags, items of clothing etc for padding is not sufficient.
High density foam is easy to find in seats from scrap cars so please stock up and make sure that you have it in every National Banger / Banger. This rule is there for your own protection!
