Oval Track Legend driver #47, Kevin Hughes would like to thank everyone for all of the concern shown to him following his most spectacular crash as Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday during heat two.
Kevin is astounded at just how many people have sent him messages and rung him to see if he is ok.
The triple rollover incident called for the 'Incarace Double lift' to enable the car to be removed from the track as Kevin escaped unscathed from the jaw dropping incident.
Having had time to count everything up, Kevin revealed to Paul Gerrard on Monday that he 'still had all of his arms, legs, fingers and toes', plus a superb shoulder and chest bruise matching the outline of his Hans Device - a true credit to the safety of the Oval Track Legend cars.
Kevin would also like to pass on his thanks to all of the track staff and medical personnel involved in his incident - he won't quite make it back on track for the Bank Holiday meeting at Northampton, due to severe car damage, but would hopefully return soon.
