It was a sad day when we heard of the passing of Helen Hales last week and out of respect for the family we have waited to issue a press release.

Everyone at Spedeworth/Incarace would like to pass on our sincere condolences to the Hales family and our thoughts and prayers are with them at a very difficult time.

Helen was instrumental in bringing Oval Track Legends to the United Kingdom alongside her husband Derek and the formula grew over the years from strength to strength with their support.

Helen’s good nature and smile could keep up the spirits of anyone who was feeling down.

Simply put, Helen was a true lady of motorsport.

A celebration of Helen Hales’ Life will take place at 12pm on Monday 15th April 2024 at Breckland Crematorium, IWCH Road, Scoulton, NR9 4NR. Please wear bright colours.

Following the service, all are invited to Barnham Broom, Honingham Road, Norwich, NR9 4DD for refreshments & to continue to celebrate Helen’s life.
