On Sunday 2nd October 2016 Spedeworth / Incarace return to Wimbledon Stadium for the winter season opener.

The Banger 4-a-side team event has been cancelled but do not panic!

Following the success of the last meeting at Wimbledon Stadium back in March the Bangers will race at this opening event with two heats over the oval circuit and then for the final the Figure Of 8 circuit to finish off the evening’s entertainment. Will everyone make the cross over???

Also in addition to the original fixture the Old Skool Superstox will make an appearance with cars on show by the turnstiles for everyone to see before start time and then a demonstration race during the meeting to bring back the memories of the ‘good old days’.

Going from the old to the new we also see the Superstox of today racing in round 11 of the Safari Land Rover Engineering Challenge Series and the first round of the Man On The Terraces Series.

But hold on a minute! The night isn’t finished there!

The line-up is completed with the sports future stars racing in their Junior Rods in round 12 of the Kustom Racewear Challenge Series. These youngsters are racing in the only non-contact formula of the evening and will show everyone how good rod racing can be at the Plough Lane venue.
