The annual Best in Britain meeting at Wimbledon Stadium is one of the most eagerly anticipated meetings of the winter months among Spedeworth race fans and while it may have been cold and damp the action was hot from the start to the finish.

It has been a long hard season for Superstox but they rounded off 2011 in fine style with superb action in all 3 races. The heats were won by Ben munford 233 and 426 Richard Raymond prior to the big event. The final saw plenty of fast hard racing and the superstars of the formula had their work cut out to make it to the front but make it to the front they did as the red top train sped through the pack led eventually by current Silver Top Colin Aylward 51 who looked determined to take the last title of 2011 back to the HCD Workshops.
