With 23 Ministox in the pits by start time at Wimbledon Stadium last night including visitors from the West Country and Scotland; action was guaranteed from the youngsters as they contested their London Open Championship.

It was 121 Marcus Skeels who took advantage of his Ywllow Grade start to take victory in the big race of the evening and he also went on to win one of the support heats too - thereby securing a blue grade start for December. Mark Cooper Jnr 108 was second in the London Open Championship and 198 Brandon Osborne third as the Spedeworth drivers locked out the top three.

These young drivers put on a great show under the lights at Plough Lane and the future of short oval racing certainly looks bright in their hands! Well done to all involved!
