We have received the following update on the Champion of Champions meeting, the last meeting of the UK tour of South Africa:

Saturday was a full house with great vibes, all classes were full grids. In the Pinto class Champion of Champions, SA103 Frans Joubert successfully defended his title and is therefore 2012 Champion of Champions, UK31 Dick Hillard took 2nd with UK713 713 Ian Beaumont crossing the line in 3rd but being black flagged for bumping. SA driver Pieter van Staden assumed 3rd but failed post race scrutineering meaning that there was no 3rd place, another SA driver 216 Christopher Aisling coming 4th.

The earlier races were won by SA21 Brandon Kruger, followed home in 2nd by UK331 Jason Jackson, with UK304 Danny Fiske in 4th and UK31 Dick Hillard 5th.

SA103 Frans Joubert won the 2nd race ahead of UK713 Ian Beaumont and UK199 Scott Bourne, with Hillard again in 5th.
