Following the National Championship at Yarmouth Stadium yesterday, a new points chart will be issued this week.

The top 3 or 4 drivers from this points chart will be invited to attend the 2.0 Hot Rod World Final on Spetember 14th and 15th at Mahem Raceway, Pretoria, South Africa to race in front of what will be a huge crowd of highly appreciative supporters who will be enjoying a truly world class event. Interest is strong in Northern Ireland and there should be 3 drivers from the province in action in September.

Any drivers interested in racing at this event should contact Deane Wood via the office or by speaking to him directly at any track for more information. Please consider which dates you would like to fly on, how long you wish to stay for and if you would like to go out a few days prior to the event to set up your race car. You may also wish to consider staying on after the event to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime and take in some of the amazing sights this beautiful country has to offer - you and your party can enjoy water-parks and safaris etc in some of the most stunning surroundings.

Please note that driver plus one other will have their accommodation costs and transportation costs in South Africa paid for.
