2021 F2 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION

Bookings for this year’s F2 European Championship will commence on Tuesday, 13 July at 9am and can only be made by calling 01252 322920. Booking priority will be given to drivers who have supported our events so far this season.

Drivers will be required to declare the names of their mechanics (if applicable) at time of booking. Any other admissions can be purchased in advance via our e-ticketing system using the link below.

In accordance with the F2 Rule Book, the following criteria have been used to determine the qualifying drivers for the championship race on the Sunday.

The line-up for the Formula 2 European Championship will consist of the top National points scorers on the July grading list who have booked to race before the deadline date of Wednesday 21 July at 5.00 pm. From the remaining drivers, the top six points scorers from Saturday evening’s racing will join those seeded drivers.

The F2 Rule Book also provides that overseas drivers will be seeded onto the grid for the championship race, although the position regarding overseas drivers, particularly those from the Netherlands, is not yet known.

Should there be no, or very few, overseas drivers, an increased number of UK mainland drivers will qualify for the European Championship race.

Precise details of the number of drivers eligible for the race will be made available nearer the date but in the meantime, if you want to be part of the European weekend, apply for your booking as soon as possible from Tuesday, 13 July.

The grid line-up for the race will be determined by the usual public draw, held outside the pit office at 10 am on the Sunday.
