On behalf of everyone at Spedeworth/Incarace, I would like to thank everyone for their support at the 2023 Civil War event on Sunday.

Congratulations to the south on their victory making the overall score 12 wins to the south and 11 to the north. Will the north bounce back next year?

There are so many people to thank for making Civil War the success it was and to ensure I don’t miss anyone out I am going to say “Thank you everyone” and you all know who you are.

The racing was hard hitting and brought back memories of previous Civil Wars and this one will be spoken about for a long time to come. Drivers you did yourselves proud.

To all the staff, a long day to endure but without you all Civil War would not be possible. You all should be proud of Sunday and as a company we really are appreciative of your efforts to support our events all year round.

Race fans, the atmosphere you created was electric. Cheers and boos throughout the event always make Civil War special. Whether you travelled 5 minutes down the road or miles and miles. Thank you for your attendance on Sunday.

Finally, thanks to mother nature too who has you can see from the picture kept the snow away until today. We’ve had Civil War in the snow before but quite frankly for January we couldn’t have asked for much better on Sunday.

So that’s the war over for another year and I hope you all enjoyed the event and I look forward to seeing you all around the raceways over the coming season.
