Spedeworth / Incarace were very saddened to hear the news of the recent passing of Ron Harris, Father of former National Hot Rod Racing’s, Andy Harris and former head of the very famous Harris Performance Engines Company.
Having inherited the Company from his Father, Ron expanded the business through four decades where Harris Engines won numerous Championships and titles not only in Oval Motorsport but Drag Racing, other motorsports and indeed was a cult figure amongst the Retro Ford enthusiasts who always called upon his expertise.
Ron will be sadly missed by everyone not only involved in Oval Motorsport, but motorsport and motoring in general.
Our sincere condolences go out to Ron’s Family and many, many Friends at this sad time.
Funeral details are as follows;
Wednesday 13th April at 2:00PM at the Bandon Hill Cemetary, Plough Lane, Wallington. Surrey. SM6 8JQ.
