This past weekend at Hednesford Raceway, the 2016 Hednesford Nationals were staged over two days of superb weather and racing in the Staffordshire Hills.
Spedeworth/Incarace would like to congratulate #54 Adam Hylands on becoming the new 2016 NHR Champion, with #162 Car Waler - Barrett second and #117 Robert McDonald third.
#50 Ben Murray became the 2016 Lightning Rods National Champion with #7 Roger Dormer second and #591 Reid Murray third.
The Stock Rods National title went the way of #212 John Smith from #551 Gary Butler and #25 Siobhan Martin.
the NHR NHRPA Championship race was also staged and won by #962 John Christie from #117 Rob McDonald and #162 Carl Waller - Barrett.
Of particular note was that John Christie campaigned the Space Framed Fiesta NHR that his Father Ormond had won back to back World Titles in in 1996 and 1997.
Maybe this retro thinking will see more Peaugeot 206's, VW Corrado's etc rejoining the NHR World Series in the coming weeks?
Once again well done to all the aforementioned Drivers at the Hednesford Nationals.
