Following the publication of the 2017 fixtures on the website, we have received a number of enquiries about Slick Cars.

We have currently only offered Slick Cars in 2017 at I-Factor meetings and this has met with some disapproval from some drivers.

The attendances at Slick Car meetings do tend to vary from year to year and 2016 was indeed a poor year with less than 15 cars at the Hednesford Hills Raceway meetings, and Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich with a good grid of cars (1/2 of which were National Hot Rods) and then a very poor Ipswich with only a handful of cars, hence why the decision was made to restrict the meeting in 2017.

We would like to propose an additional meeting at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 12th March 2017. We will be happy to run Slick Cars on this date as long as we can be guaranteed a reasonable number of cars as there is no point in running the formula with only 10 cars.

So, if you are interested in racing as a Slick Car at this meeting please register your interest by booking-n and then we will announce in due course if the formula will go ahead on Sunday 12th March 2017.
