We would like to thank all drivers, staff and officials for their efforts on Saturday especially at Birmingham Wheels and Ipswich with both venues experiencing extreme weather conditions particularly towards the end of the meetings.

The racing at both tracks was very entertaining and without the commitment shown by everyone it would not have been possible to carry on.

It was a great pity having already lost the meeting on Saturday at Mildenhall that we were faced with no choice but to cancel the opening meeting at Hednesford on Sunday with a snow covered track and frozen water pipes. This was the second cancellation on the trot for the National Hot Rods who now look to their double weekend meeting on Good Friday at Northampton and Ipswich on Easter Monday.

With the weather forecast showing a change now to warmer temperatures and Spring officially starting tomorrow and Easter less that two weeks away, lets look forward to better times.
