Spedeworth / Incarace would like to congratulate #168 Andy Sturt on becoming the 2018 Stock Rod English Champion at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday 17th March.

On what turned out to be a snowy night at Foxhall Heath Stadium a full grid of Stock Rods lined up for the English Championship race after each driver had competed in a two heat reverse grid format to earn their points to determine their positions on the grid for the championship race.

Non-contact racing at Foxhall Heath Stadium is always close and a spectacle to watch and was even more of a challenge for the drivers with the weather conditions becoming worse as the night progressed. Despite the weather the drivers produced some top quality racing in difficult conditions.

At the end of the race the top three across the line were #168 Andy Sturt, #16 Perry Osborne-Brown (second) and #718 Darren Cardy (third).

The next meeting for the Stock Rods is at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Monday 2nd April @ 1.30pm where there are already 50 cars booked-in to attend at the time of writing!
