When the fixtures were planned almost a year ago, the standard ten formula line up at an I Factor Sunday event was repeated for both the Birmingham and Northampton venues but the extended time involved between races at a shale venue wasn't really taken into account at the time.

We consider that it is feasible to run up to seven formulas on Sunday and having monitored carefully the bookings taken for the event and consultation with drivers we have decided to remove three of the ten formulas scheduled to race this Sunday at I Factor Round 8 at the Northampton Shaleway.

MASCARS had already declined to take part on the shale and as above, based on bookings we are also removing Slick Cars and Incarods

We apologise to the drivers that this affects, but I am sure that you will be understanding of the situation in terms of the number of races that we can genuinely cope with on the day.

The first race is scheduled for midday (there is no practice available) with the pit gate opening at 9am.

Competitors that wish to travel overnight, may stay in the outer car park on Saturday evening. The road gate will be closed, but not locked, but please ensure to close it behind you.
