SEMI FINAL DAY : DRIVERS INFORMATION - Added 27/07/2012


The Semi Final meeting at Birmingham Wheels today (Saturday 28th) promises to be a cracking event.

Here are a few important time lines and items of note for drivers and spectators :

1.00pm Pits Open
1.45pm Drivers Signing On commences **
2.00pm Stadium opens for spectators
2.00pm Paid Practice commences
4.30pm Paid Practice finishes
5.00pm Pre-meeting Practice commences
5.40pm Pre-Meeting Practice finishes
6.00pm Drivers Briefing in Holding Area

** Drivers please remember that this is a wristbanded meeting so your mechanics will need to come down to the signing in hut (rear window) for their wristbands. Any additional people in your party can also purchase wristbands at this point.

6.30pm Meeting start

The Race Order is as follows :

Race 1 F1 Heat 1
Race 2 F2 Heat 1
Race 3 F1 Semi Final
Race 4 F2 Heat 2
Race 5 F1 Consolation
Race 6F2 Final
Race 7F1 Final
Race 8F2 Grand National
Race 9F1 Grand National


There will be a presentation to Semi Final drivers as part of the build up to the race.

It is envisaged that the green flag for the Semi Final will be approx 7.30pm

The meeting is scheduled to finish at 9.45pm, however, there may be an additional race as there will be a run off following the F1 National if there is a tie for 12th position in the Shoot Out points.
