Spedeworth / Incarace would like to announce that unfortunately the decision has been taken to cancel the event at Northampton International Shaleway on Sunday 29th September due to the weather conditions which have taken place already this week and are predicted for the Northampton area over the weekend.

Since the last meeting more work has been taking place on the track surface which has included adding another 7/8 inches of shale onto the bends. Long term this will help the surface continue to improve but since the re-lay after the World Masters the weather has resulted in the surface still being loose and not packed down completely.

This decision has taken time to be made as we hope people can respect we are attempting to continue to improve the raceway and keep moving forward with the improvements and with the bad weather believe more harm than good could be done by running on Sunday.

On Sunday we do still have two events running on tarmac at both Aldershot Raceway (12noon start) and Great Yarmouth Stadium (5.30pm start) and full details can be found about these events via the link below.

The next meeting at Northampton International Shaleway will be on Sunday 13th October (1pm start) featuring Bangers – ‘Back To Basics’ including Chained Pairs Race, Bone Builders Junior Micra Stock Cars, Classic Hot Rods and Rebels.
