The day was Sunday 5th August 2012. It was time for the National Hot Rods – National Championship. 75 Laps of the 1/4mile banked oval known as Hednesford Hills Raceway.
Installation laps were complete and as the 2 rolling laps got under way you could have been mistaken for time going backwards a month to Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich and Spedeweekend 2012 as the rain returned with a vengeance to National Hot Rod racing.
The INCARACE On-Board Camera was fixed onto the #996 machine driven by Stewart Doak. Watch the video to witnesses the tricky conditions which not only Stewart but all the drivers had to contend with to contest the National Championship.
