Following last weekend’s I Factor Fast & Furious meeting at Birmingham Wheels, there seems to be a number of disgruntled drivers because of the mass pile up in race one which damaged a number of cars, some apparently beyond repair.

The initial incident was caused by one driver who was loaded on the night for his actions, but the multiple pile up that happened as a direct consequence could not be avoided – it was a pure racing incident. The video has been studied carefully and the yellow flags could not have been put out any earlier – quite a different story than some drivers are trying to allege.

We need to move on from this and encourage as many drivers to attend their biggest Championship of the year on Saturday at Wheels.

Just to confirm the two formulas will be run separately for these Championship events.
