Following post-race scrutineering the result of the 2012 ORCi Stock Rod British Championship held at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 14th October has been suspended pending further technical investigation.

Defending champion #57 Raymond Harper from Northern Ireland couldn’t of started the day any better by winning the first heat and the second heat was ‘won’ by #924 Stuart Wright who was docked 2 places by the Steward Of The Meeting for a first bend blocking infringement which handed the heat win to fellow Incarace driver #823 Paul Williams.

The British Championship grid saw #447 Stuart Smyth on pole with #658 Chris Latkka alongside him with #171 Dean O’ Dell in the 3rd grid slot and #57 Raymond Harper alongside. After a superb race long battle #658 took the flag but was then docked 2 places by the Steward for contact on #447 resulting in #658 finishing 3rd and promoting #57 to the win and #447 into second. Incarace driver #924 Stuart Wright finished 4th.

Post race scrutineering then identified a potential problem with the engine of #57 Raymond Harper and therefore the result is currently suspended as stated above pending further technical investigation.

It is hoped that all investigations will be conclude by the end of the week and at that time the result shall be declared via the Incarace website.
