The fun and chaos of Christmas is over and everybody’s attention turns towards partying on New Years Eve and recovering New Years Day & what better way to recover than Banger racing at Birmingham Wheels Raceway!

Drivers who sent off their licence applications and have not received them via post will be able to collect them from Birmingham Wheels on New Years Day.

For spectators all the information about this meeting is available via the Coming Events link. So far there are 19 2ltr National Bangers booked-in to race on New Years Day and add to that the drivers who just wake up on the day and decide “you know what….Let’s Go Racing Boys!!!” New Years Day could turn out to be a 2ltr World Wild Card meeting to remember!

Let’s of course not forget this meeting is not just about National Bangers. The ORCi Mini Stox blow away the winter cobwebs and begin their 2013 chase for the Incarace Silver Roof.

History will be made with the final meeting being held for the Incarods and Hot Fords in their current guise before the New Rules come into force in March when the two formulas are merged back together to create the new Incarod formula at Incarace.

Finally the day is rounded off by the 2012 Points Championship Trophy Presentations to the drivers who will carry the Silver Roof on their cars for 2013.

Racing starts at 2pm with the raceway open from 11am to drivers and spectators.
