As many are aware, our Civil War event each year provides charitable donations for both the winners and the losers!

2013 of course saw a resounding victory for the Northern team and Captain Stu Kearsley chose to split the winning teams £1,000 into two separate £500 donations.

Firstly, Bluebell Wood, a local Children’s Hospice to Stuart in Sheffield who offer care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy, both in their own homes and at the hospice in North Anston.

Secondly Stu chose to support the valuable assistance that the Air Ambulance provides to people in need of urgent medical attention.

Losing Southern Captain Paul Adams is still ‘licking his wounds’ as such, but has allocated his £500 cheque to McMillan Cancer Support to help with the continuing support that they give to Cancer sufferers.
