Due to the severe weather forecast for this evening and tomorrow morning for the West Midlands area, we have unfortunately decided to cancel the race meeting scheduled for Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday 23rd March.

We would like to apologise to drivers and officials that had made plans to attend the meeting, but we consider that cancelling the meeting at this stage is more sensible than an inevitable late cancellation tomorrow morning.

We will endeavour to replace the fixtures for each formula wherever possible later in the season, but would like to extend an immediate invite to all Junior Banger drivers to race at Wimbledon Stadium on Sunday evening, start time 5.30pm – There is already a healthy booking list of 18 Juniors at Wimbledon, so a few more would make it an extra special night.

Apologies once again for the cancellation of Wheels, but I am sure you will understand that in the circumstances it will probably be in most people’s best interest – please do your bit by letting everyone you know that the meeting is cancelled.

If you still need that Stock Car fix over the weekend, then there are two superb meetings at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich and Wimbledon. Ipswich on Saturday night features Superstox, Stock Rods and Bangers and Wimbledon on Sunday sees the last meeting until September there with Bangers, Junior Bangers, Historic Stock cars and Rookie Rods
