The Banger Summer Series first round is right around the corner and several drivers have enquired about the point’s structure.

Points will be scored using the Man Of The Midlands scoring system.

Points: 106-92-79-67-56-46-37-29-22-16-11-7-4-2-1

The Heats & Finals will be scored upto 15th place and double points in the Final.

Each driver will receive attendance points as follows:-
o Race 1 Round:- 10 Points
o Race 2 Rounds:- 25 Points
o Race 3 Rounds:- 50 Points
o 85 Attendance Points can be accumulated in total if a driver races at all 3 rounds.

These points will determine the grid for the Final race of the series at Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Wednesday 7th August 2013 and the winner is the driver who takes the chequered flag of that race.

Alongside the points been awarded towards the Banger Super Summer Series Round, standard annual points will be scored as normal on each race and these points go towards the overall Points Championship for the 2013 season and also determine which drivers will qualify for the Banger World Championship which takes place at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday 17th October.
