Following Post Race scrutineering of the first four cars in the Man of the Midlands Championship held at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 3rd November and subsequent checks on Monday, the winning car of Ryan Davies (290) was found to be in contravention of the 2013 Banger Technical Specifications as the car was fitted with an incorrect flywheel to the engine.

All other cars checked were passed.

Based on the above, Ryan Davies has been disqualified from the race and the result has been amended as follows :

1st.... 181.... Grant Doe
2nd.... 199.... Jacob Roff
3rd.... 800.... Tom Hannah

All three drivers will be invited to attend a re-presentation of the trophies at the Champion of Champions meeting at Birmingham Wheels on Saturday 23rd November.

In addition, Ryan Davies has been given a three month ban from racing. Ryan has indicated that he will not be appealing the decision.
