A number of drivers have asked us to confirm the racing rules for the Pre-78 Crash Cavalcade at Hednesford on Sunday 28th September.

Having discussed this across the committee and with a few drivers, we can confirm that the heats will be run under the ‘Old Skool’ type Banger rules (e.g. as per Stan Woods Meeting – no follow ins, no hard hits) and then the finals as per normal National Banger rules.

We are very well aware that these old cars are now costing more and more to buy and prepare, so, with the above format, we will hopefully be able to keep a good field of cars going for the Final, with most drivers getting three races from their cars.
