The Mini Stox points title for 2011 just could not be closer and that is official!

Long time points leader Ben Bate has been gradually caught over the last few meetings and crucially is now on exactly the same points as chaser Ryan Polley with Courtney Finnikin just nine points off the lead. This will mean that both Ryan and Ben will have to start from the rear of the field and this will certainly hand the advantage to Courtney.

It will be a hard task for Ben to win the points as unfortunately he is forced to retire from Minis when he reaches the age of 16 and that will mean that he will miss the final two meetings of the year - this is a great shame for Ben who won't be able to see the season out and continue the season long battle with Courtney and Ryan, which has been superb.

There may just be someone else too who could wellbe knocking on the door of the points title and that is Alex Cunningham, who, if the results go well for him and others dont so as well, he could be up there at the end.
