First of all I would like to thank all the people involved on Saturday night including drivers, staff and spectators which I think was a pretty successful night. I thought that the atmosphere was brilliant and that all the drivers put on a fantastic display. I personally think that the turning around rule actually made a better atmosphere.

The downside to the meeting however was idiots throwing fireworks onto the race track. If anybody can name them then the people involved will be banned from all the stadiums. The new men’s toilets which have just been completely rebuilt, I would like to ‘thank’ the people who have smashed them to pieces. It really does make me feel like not spending money on our sport to try and improve it so again if anybody has any names on this matter I would like to know.

The third issue was problems with scrutineering. When you have a scrutineers briefing with the chief scrutineers and cars are still passed this is wrong. There is an internal enquiry into this as this is not acceptable for drivers who had to correct their cars to the rules whilst other drivers did not.

I have spoken to Joey Palmer last night and he is all ok apart from a few knocks and bruises and I have just spoken to Jordan who is the son of Stuart Cumming and he has told me that Stuart has not had to have an operation and is only in plaster and I would like to wish them both a speedy recovery and any other drivers that did takes ‘knocks’ on the night.

Once again I would like to thank everyone overall for a superb night of racing at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich and I look forward to seeing everyone around the raceways in the future.
