The Oval Track Legends season is just one week away from a dramatic finale at Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday 8th November. There will be a special preview for that event early next week.

The request for drivers to attend a review meeting planned for mid November has only seen 4 drivers put forward up until now and we are pleased to assume that most drivers are happy with the 2014 season and don’t really see the need for a meeting.

We are going to wait until the Birmingham race meeting to see if we have any more drivers that wish to attend, but, we would propose that if we do not have sufficient drivers for the review meeting, that we should invite all drivers to email in with any suggestions/proposals for changes or new ideas for 2015.

We will be having an Oval Track Legends Officials meeting at some stage, so any proposals can be reviewed at that time.

One proposal that will be put forward from Deane is that tyre wear markings should be ignored allowing you to run tyres down to the canvass – we would like to hear your thoughts on that one.
