Spedeworth Motorsports is currently recruiting marshals to work on or in close proximity to the track at Aldershot Raceway, Northampton International Shaleway & Great Yarmouth Stadium.

There is more to being a Marshal than simply waving flags. Our Marshals ensure that the racing surface is at its utmost perfection and that fluid spillages or debris are cleared up before the next race.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Delivering flag signals to drivers during racing
• Fire marshaling
• Communicating messages to drivers
• Clearing track of debris and fluids
• Maintaining the racing surface
• Lining up race cars in their grid positions on track

Skills and attributes:

• Well-presented and friendly with a professional attitude
• Attentive and observant
• Reliable and punctual
• Enthusiast and confident
• Calm under pressure
• Able to work as part of a team and individually
• Prompt execution of all work assignments
• Able to work under own initiative and under instruction
• Applicants should be physically fit
