We are deeply saddened to be told that Neil Clarke - a stalwart of Hednesford Hills Raceway - has passed away.
Neil competed in all manor of classes in his decades of racing both at the Staffordshire venue which he loved so much and beyond, racing for 54 consecutive years at over 50 ovals. From Hot Rods to Super Rods and eventually onto Grand Prix Midgets, where his pink car was immediately recognisable when it took to the track.
After 32 seasons in the formula, in 2023, he retired from the Grand Prix Midgets class and is second in the club’s all-time points scorer records.
A dear friend to many, and a Hednesford Hills legend. Our heartfelt condolences to all Neil's family and friends at this difficult time.
