1300cc STOCK CAR CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD RETURNS TO HEDNESFORD HILLS!
The thrill-packed armoured hatchbacks are heading to the infamous Staffordshire 1/4 mile oval for what is going to be another unmissable weekend of racing and socialising in the summer. Those who experienced the formula's World Final at the venue back in 2015 will remember a huge entry; and we're looking forward to more of the same a decade later in 2025...
National Championship Weekend also sees the return of the Stock Rods - a true staple of the event - competing not only in their National Championship, but the Gunner Testimonial Event too. The #658 machine has done countless laps of the Hednesford tarmac - with Chris Lattka hanging up his helmet after one last blast around the venue he has seen plenty of success at over the years. As such a top character of the oval racing scene, we expect plenty of support from north of the border at this top weekend!
Speaking of Scotland, and it's #17 Rob McDonald - firmly becoming one of the successful Hot Rod drivers of all time - defending his National Championship in the National Hot Rods are at this special weekend at the home of Hot Rod racing. The unique Friday practice, Saturday qualifying and Sunday championship day format make for three days of on-track action from the fastest formula on the ovals - with another hugely competitive weekend in store as the different body shapes develop and the Ginetta, Mazda, Vauxhall and Ford-based racers battle it out for your entertainment.
Don't miss this incredible weekend as the infamous National Weekend atmosphere descends on the Staffordshire venue for this three day festival of oval motorsport...
