Congratulations to Spedeworth National Banger driver 294 Lee 'Stuntman' Hughes who has won the PRI World Final at Arena Essex, becoming the first Spedeworth driver ever to win the title.
Lee came home first ahead of a high quality field despite a last bend attempt to take him out by a local driver.
Lee's win will go some way to make up for the disappointment of his brother 27 Dale Hughes who cruelly had the title taken from him a few years ago after post-race scrutineering.
Dale himself placed 6th in the race, and a big well done to all the Spedeworth drivers on the day for flying the flag, including 247 Lee 'Bro' Clarke who won the consolation race after the World Final.
Lee Hughes also went on to win the allcomers Final to cap an excellent day for the Kent based driver and Spedeworth!
