Here are the rule changes for 2011:
13. VEHICLE WEIGHT
1. Cars may be checked (excluding the driver) at any time for there weight and they must weigh no less than 930kg, and no more than 1000kg.
3. There is also a maximum of 52% inside (drivers side) weight
14. FRONT SUSPENSION
3. The NSF top suspension mounting may be repositioned to achieve negative Camber & Castor & be strengthened and must be welded fully in place, and not just tack welded. The geometry settings must not be adjustable.
19. FRONT SHOCK ABSORBERS
9. Shock absorbers must be as from manufacturer, ie: Gaz shocker must remain with Gaz components incl oil, No interchanging of parts or oil.
10. We will be looking at experimenting with different shock absorbers through the year to make this cheaper.
We feel this will be enough to close us up to Trackstar, we feel it is not right to make drivers spend money in this recession. We will be inter-mixing for championships. It is thought that Trackstar maybe allowed to skim more off their cylinder heads but with our lower weight it should even itself out
