National Banger star and former double Spedeworth World Champion 27 Dale Hughes kept it in the family by making it 4 wins in a row in the Hurricane event for him and his brother 294 Lee! Dale won the main race on Monday afternoon at a rain-soaked Foxhall Raceway to add to his victory in 2009 and Lee's wins in 2010 and 2011.
A packed field of 72 cars saw Dale win the opening race, 159 Darren Scarrow take heat 2, and then after Dale had won the 60-car Hurricane ahead of visiting drivers 382 Jack Foster Jnr and 67 Rickie Beasley, it was 998 Wayne Cotterill Jnr who won the Allcomers, and the 28 car DD going the way of 331 Jason 'Boxer Jack' Jackson.
The day also saw plenty of battles between The Gladiators and The Cream Team, including 539 Danny Allen almost ending up over the fence after one crash!
Thanks to Chris Berry for the photos.
