Another year of racing with Spedeworth Incarace comes near to a close, and we have the second of our two-monthly issues of Wheelspin magazine for you to tide you over the winter season; with fewer meetings this time of year, and most of the tracks in hibernation, now is a very good time to take out a subscription - the link is right here on the website, and a full year’s set of nine issues can be delivered to your door.
In the Dec/Jan issue, we have interviews with John Smith Jnr, who has concluded a fabulous year with a win in the Rookie Rod Supreme Championship, winning the DB Mechanical Services prize of a race-ready Corsa – will he keep it for another year, or will he move on? John talks about this and more.
Lee Hughes also offers some words on the subject of becoming National Banger Unlimited champion, and we do, of course, have full reports on that race and the Spedeworth Banger World race too.
Racers of all kinds should take a warning note from the story of how Hot Rod man Jason Busby lost all his kit along with the race car and his workshop in a devastating fire in 2012, but on a more festive note we celebrate the success of some of the Junior racing formulas in the last 12 months or so and look forward to more growth in 2014.
It’s all there, along with your favourite columns and all the reports and results. And it’s a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the team!
