The 2014 Superstox World Championship takes place this Sunday (5th October) at Wimbledon Stadium.

Below is the information for the Superstox World Qualifying Drivers. Please take the time to read this information and please ensure that you also attend the drivers briefing in the pit lane at 5pm for any further information you may need to know on the day.

The pits will open to all drivers at 3pm. Please do not arrive before this time otherwise you risk been sent away as the pits are not accessible until this time.

Once you are parked in the pits please take you log book and go to the pit office located next to the track tunnel and sign-on so your car can then be safety checked by a member of Spedeworth staff. You will also be given your admission tickets and pit access passes at this time.

Practice will be available for all Superstox between 4.20pm and 4.50pm. Please remember that you will need to have passed the safety check and will need your admission ticket to gain entry onto the track.

Please make sure after practice you attend the drivers briefing which will be in pit lane at 5pm so we can inform you of how the World Final will work and any further information we may need to give you.
The first Superstox race will be for the 2014 World Championship. Before the race we need your help to make things run smoothly!

The Bangers will kick-off the nights on track racing followed by V8 Stock Cars. During these two races we will be coming around asking you to line-up in the holding area in the reverse World Championship grid order (Last place on the grid first in the holding area).

There will be a grand parade and we require you to be with your car but a mechanic driving the car for you. Please note that you BOTH MUST BE WEARING OVERALLS otherwise you will not be permitted onto the raceway.

Once you have entered the raceway and received your qualifying plaque and pass the start line you will be asked to reverse up against the fence in a specific space.

Once you have parked against the fence please get yourself ready to race. Once the pole position driver has parked all non-racing personnel will be asked to leave the raceway.

You will then be asked by the Clerk Of The Course to driver around to the Pace Cars which will be waiting on the Start Line for you. Once you are parked on the grid please switch your engine OFF.

Once the command is given for you to start you engine and the Pace Cars move away there will be 2 rolling laps.

It is now time for the 35 lap Superstox World Championship Race – Good Luck To Everyone!

If there is a RED FLAG STOPPAGE in the first 5 laps there will be 10 minutes repair time. Mechanics will be allowed onto the raceway but MUST be wearing overalls. Please park your car on the infield (if possible) before any work on your car commences.

The 10 minutes is rigid and will cease even if the raceway is being cleaned or fence repairs are still taking place. At the end of the 10 minutes Graham Woodward to announce the time has expired. THE DRIVER MUST BE IN THEIR CAR AND THE CAR MUST START AND DRIVE AWAY AT THE END OF 10 MINUTES. – This procedure will only happen once!

At the end of the race the top 4 are to go to the infield and be lined-up in the order:- 4th, 3rd, 1st, 2nd.

The pit gate is to remain CLOSED until Andy Copper confirms we have all the required cars for both presentation and post-race scrutineering.

The family of the winner will be permitted onto the race track but MUST be accompanied by a Clerk Of The Course.

There will be 2 victory laps after the trophy presentation.
