9 Ministox out for the first race including Mhairi Robertson all the way from Scotland - she leads the early stages but it was a star grade top 2 with 136 Ryan Polley winning ahead of 143 Danny Hansford.

Heat 2 - 115 Jack Miller, 143, 136, 391, 129, 118, 161, 197, 123.

A good drive sees 115 Jack Miller take the second heat with the Scot just about making contact with everyone !

Final - 115 Jack Miller, 143 Danny Hansford, 136 Ryan Polley, 391, 129, 118, 197, 161.

115 had a comfortable lead until 123 went in hard bringing out the yellows with 3 laps left in which to hold on, which he duly does after 143 and 136 get into a muddle on the home straight!

LIGHTNING RODS

Heat 1 - 339 Ben Furness, 386, 331, 452, 346, 633, 557, 526, 355, 418.

18 cars for the first race with returnee 383 Karl Bensley in a brand new Sapphire suffering a lot of damage as half the grid gets tangled up, bringing out the yellows, 339 takes advantage of the restart from grid 3 and wins.

Heat 2 - 342 Ben Kerry, 339, 355, 346, 503, 452, 526, 331, 730, 316.

Amazingly a full grid for heat 2 and it took until half distance until the reds came out with even more damage for 383 amongst many others, 342 lead the restart and opened up a half lap lead as the light drizzle turns to rain.

Final - 342 Ben Kerry, 557 Brent Tillow, 331 Michael Gabriel, 339, 452, 346, 636, 503, 633, 355.

346 had a good lead but lost out when lapping a back marker, 342 looks at home in the wet and takes his second win of the night!

1300 STOCK CARS

Heat 1 - 363 Mark Skoyles, 232, 447, 713, 323, 23, 40, 64, 183, 79.

29 Stock Cars for heat 1, only a handful of laps before 686 Pete Beldom completes a full roll landing on his roof, bringing out reds for a complete restart, 363 takes full advantage of his white grade with the win on his return to racing!

Heat 2 - 686 Pete Beldom, 64, 121, 216, 711, 232, 88, 2, 569, 171.

A stoppage at the start of the second heat when 447 Stephen Hampshire found the fence hard. 64 Mark Whybra got through the traffic but it was first race roller 686 that shoved him out wide with a few laps to run to take the win in another action packed race.

East Anglian Championship - 64 Mark Whybra, 121 Luke Morphey, 79 Barry Radcliffe, 363, 232, 323, 2, 23, 686, 171.

Down to 21 cars for the main race due to the earlier action, and with the rain falling 121 Luke Morphey was driving well leading in his starlet but with the conditions favouring the front wheel drive cars it was 64 Whybra in the ex 515 corsa that took the win with 121 a well deserved second!

Dash for Cash - 232 Daniel Wenn, 686 Pete Beldom, 23 Lee Pearce, 2, 363, 171, 121, 713, 385.

An excellent climax to the night with the dash for cash, 232 Daniel Wenn made the break whilst 64 held back getting taken out in spectacular fashion a few laps later - also nice to see Scotsman 2 Jack Robertson getting a little reward for his efforts with a 4th!!

ROOKIE RODS

Heat 1 - 550 Terry Hannant, 231, 327, 32, 326, 687, 650, 646, 279, 10.

18 Rookie Rods for heat one with almost half the field white graders, and it was one of these 550 who takes his first ever win and in his brand new car too!

Heat 2 - 348 Danny England, 127, 326, 650, 687, 231, 526, 665, 315, 279.

Its an England first and second 348 Danny closely followed by 127 Simon all race, both are making their returns tonight in smart Novas.

Final - 231 Dave Reed, 127, 327, 526, 650, 279, 326, 646, 687, 10.

Another good showing from the white grade until 231 managed to get past 127 on the very last lap!
